Jason 1 is in a new Safe Hold Mode since March 3^rd 2012 at 13:46 UTC. The recovery procedure is in progress but many questions has to be solved before continuing.

More details about its current status:

• Main platform equipment are in function, all monitored.
• Payload is OFF, except Doris.

No date is given to restart the mission at this time.
Discussions are on-going on Cnes and Nasa/JPL sides to take decisions about the future of the satellite.

So, we will keep you informed about these decisions within 1 or 2 weeks.
