The NASA/JPL-provided payload GPS instrument (GPSP) on Jason-2 began to exhibit anomalous behavior on 23 August 2014. The anomaly details and the potential impacts to the mission are outlined below.

Some slow mapping performances are occuring on the Live Access Server since we have changed with the new DUACS 2014 products.
A maintenance activity is scheduled on Tuesday 15 July 2014 from 7:00 to 11:00 UTC on SSALTO systems : exchanges with SSALTO won't be possible during that period. The Cnes ftp server will be available but the OGDRs won't be delivered during that period, and there will be a delay at the recovery. We are sorry for this inconvenience. Feel free to report any problem you could encounter.
