Calval
Systematic calval
Part of the validation and performance assessment process is a systematic, statistical, monitoring of the altimetric data. This is done either for each and every cycle, satellite per satellite, of by intercomparing different satellites. Annual reports enable a more synthetic view on the error budget and the possible improvements.
- Cycle per cycle, for Jason-2, Jason-1, Envisat and Topex/Poseidon
- Cycle per cycle for Envisat cross-calibration reports
